The Difference Between School and Life

May 14, 2012 Kristin 20 Comments

Kristin Barton Cuthriell, M.Ed., MSW, LCSW

“The difference between school and life?  In school, you’re taught a lesson and then given a test.  In life, you’re given a test that teaches a lesson.” Tom Bodett

Expect to be tested.  Will you pass the test?  If not, will you learn from your mistakes, or will you continue to do the same thing over and over again?

If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you have always gotten.

Sometimes we do things over and over again expecting a different result. Then one day, hopefully, we wake up and say, “You know, this really isn’t working for me, maybe I should do something different.” Thanks for commenting. Have a great day!
