“Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn’t before! What if Christmas, he thought, doesn’t come from a store. What if Christmas…perhaps…means a little bit more!”
― Dr. Seuss, How the Grinch Stole Christmas!
“Our hearts grow tender with childhood memories and love of kindred, and we are better throughout the year for having, in spirit, become a child again at Christmas-time.”
― Laura Ingalls Wilder
“My idea of Christmas, whether old-fashioned or modern, is very simple: loving others. Come to think of it, why do we have to wait for Christmas to do that?”
― Bob Hope

Merry Christmas, Kristin. I like what you said: Cherish the memories of those who are with you in spirit. This is what so many of us are doing now as we lose the people we love. See you on the blog next year.

Belated Merry Christmas, Kristin! We spent ours outdoors, of course, and enjoying the abundance of birds and wildlife bestowed upon us (two Rufous hummingbirds — rare — dined on our back porch feeders on Christmas Day). It is truly a fabulous time to be alive and on this paradise island called Earth.
See you after the New Year. May abundance of joy and spiritual wealth carry you forward into 2014. Can’t wait to see your new book!

It sounds like a wonderful Christmas, Shannon! You do make me smile. 🙂 Book will be out in a few weeks. Thank you! Enjoy those kids!
